Coo Coo Mandi,
I’ve written two articles on this which I hope you’ll find informative:
And
Essentially, Western Astrology references a “topical” zodiac - which is only concerned with the Earth’s relationship to the sun. Since the axis of the earth’s spin is not perfect, it makes a “wobble” that takes about 25,000 years to come back to the same place. For some reason Western astrologers don’t want to account for those, and as such the western zodiac has grown less and less accurate over the centuries.
Vedic astrology references the “sidereal” zodiac - which is concerned with the Earth’s relationship to the galaxy, in which the sun is a member star. Yes, objectively and practically speaking the Vedic zodiac is simply more accurate.
The Western Zodiac is about 23º off, too far AHEAD of where it should be. So if a western calculation puts your moon at less than 23º of pisces, the actual fact of the matter is that it is only *theoretically* in that position in relation to the sun. The truth is that it is *actually* 23º previous to that position - which puts it in Aries.
For example..
Western calculations say your moon is 10º Pisces. You have to subtract 23º to know where it REALLY is. 10º gets you to the border of Aries, and another 13º before that, in other words at 17º Aries is the TRUE or sidereal position of the a moon that is supposedly at 10º pisces.
What happened with your ascendant scorpio is that the tropical position is more than 23 º - For example, if you ascendant is 25º scorpio in a western calculation , it’s TRUE position is 23º less… 2º Scorpio.

both are true..there is difference b’ween western and vedic in casting theh’scopes.u shoud have some fundamental knowledge to understand the technicalities.it is very difficult to make u know detailly but in general i will explain.there are two sysrems-saayana(western) and nirayana(vedic). there an other factor called ‘ayanaamsa’ westwern h’scopes take planetary positions as observed from the sky and plot.in india they subtact from these planetary positions an amount of ‘ayanaamsa’ degrees -which is not a fixed one and is a variable and cast horo scopes.what is this ‘ayanaamsa’ ? why should it b sub tracted etc,,are different q’s.this ayanamsa increases by an amount of 52 sconds every year.it is 22*56′in 1940 ,23*13′ in 1960 ,and 23*47′in 2000 etc..your western sun position is 21*-subtract 23* from it gives your sun position in gemini as 28*..etc..here 23* ayanamsa is just..it depends on the year u have born.but it is not 22* bcz even in 1900 th year the ayanaamsa was 22*24′. both charts western and vedic in spite of their difference give same readings(predictions) since the procedure for deleniating predictions differ….inspite of subtracting ayanamsa from western to vedic u r aswcendant may b same it is in the beginning degrees of scorpio in vedeic and in tha last part of degrees for western maintining the same difference of ayanaansa degrees as applied for u r sun position.for scorpio ascendant(your lagna falls on visakha star if it is below 3*20′ and ur sun in gemini 8th house on punarvasu star-both are governed by jupiter.sun lord of 10 th posited on the star of jupiter who governs 2 and 5 houses..u r 75 persent lucky in carreir side.wish u luck

Indian astrology is based on the standard base
that is called nirayana
westrend astrology based on moving zodiac that is called sayana
the sayana means sa+ ayna = sayana
in the meaning in sanskrit sa means with nir means without
so Indian or vedic astrology uses fixed base
westren uses moving base
for these two there will be difference of 21/22 days so you will get this difference
for example normally we have makara sankranthi on jan 14/15
let as add december 31 days
we call it and continue as december only now we have december
31+14= 45 days in this minus 23 days we will get dec 22 by westren system dec 22 is the starting point of starting the makara sankramana
and in vedic astrology that is jan 14
the same thing happen in your case
your moon in vedic astrology it is in pisces and westrend it is Aries
so you have doubt which one to follow
check your self if you are rich in emotions and understand others well
you have more qualities borrowed by pisces
if you are dynamich you have least concern about others and want dominate others is the qualities of Ariie
you are the final judge
enjoy that is the beauty in vedic astrology
