Vedic Astrology: Michael Shermer vs Jeffrey Armstrong

In a scenario set up to debunk astrology, Jeffrey Armstrong completely outshines Michael Shermer in a way that any scientist should say is “statistically interesting.”
The SCENARIO: Jeffrey reads NINE charts in about TWENTY minutes. Most charts are usually given an hour of study each. EXPERIMENT I: face-to-face reading with a skeptic. The subject, afterwards, said Jeffrey’s reading “officially blew me away.” EXPERIMENT II: Nine “blind” readings. Results: 105 of 137—or 77%—of Jeffrey’s statements deemed accurate, ALL scores 63% or over, high of 89%. EXPERIMENT III: The kicker. Two of the nine, unbeknownst to Jeffrey or the subjects, have their charts switched. Accuracy rating drops to 38 and 21% respectively. Switched back to true charts, accuracy goes to 94 and 92%.

I don’t know If you will see this, if you are really keen on finding your way, I would recommend go to your nearest Buddhist temple talk to a Buddhist monk. Because I know nothing much about Veda and Hnduism .Somehow it seems (sonsneezer)is a knowlageble person about Hinduism I respect his advise too.

Has this individual been tested further? Has he repeated these results? If so, then this is very interesting. Test, test, test. Science is not a position, it’s a method. Being skeptical is not the same as being cynical. I would gladly change my position on psychics, astrology and the like, so long as there was sufficient evidence to do so.

An accuracy rating of 77% is a credible number and is more than just a guess.
In the betting world, if you gathered information on a team and it turned out that a certain team wins against another team 77% of the time, the bet would be deemed as a credible bet.
In the betting world any situation where a team has a better than 66% chance of winning that game, through extensive research, is a virtual lock.

I agree, Gandhi actually dragged India down few centuries instead of leading her to a future of Critical thinking. Gandhi was a religious fanatic Hindu and a ****** who hated the black people in Sout Africa. In fact ‘money was spent to maintain Gandhi’s poverty’, can’t remember who said that, but a famous Indian who was Gandhi’s contemporary.

Also, several people have said that the first “hit” Armstrong gets couldn’t have been a guess, because most people don’t do martial arts. But Armstrong said “martial arts or dancing,” and Jennifer hears “martial arts.” If she had never done martial arts (not even a kickboxing class at the gym?), he could fall back on the more general “dancing” guess. Most people have danced at some point, at least when they were a kid. Does anyone else spend a lot of time in a blue toyota or an older car?
