Find descriptions of the different signs. Type up the description, but don’t put down what sign it’s for. Have your classmates choose the description that they think matches them. Then show them the signs that match the descriptions (you could have posters with big pictures). See how many were accurate in the first place. See how many think the other description matches them better.

Not sure what level you are at but I am assuming it’s high school. Gifted English class expects a little more than the ordinary for a lesson. No one can predict the future but it’s fun to read the signs and see how close you are to them. It could be controversial too – just how reliable are astrology readings anyway? Should you believe them? This presentation could be very informative – I bet you could get some really good discussions going. Make sure you have your information – the history of astrology, the relationship to astronomy, who has used a “reader” – even tarot cards could work in here. It would be fun to “predict” or even read one’s sign for the day just for fun. Just make sure you are not doing anything negative and do let people know that this is a FUN thing and not to be taken seriously.
